Found this, owner said lights work but I didn’t get a chance to try them. Any guidance would be appreciated, have a fledgling collection I could use it for.

Pretty dusty, but It could clean up nice. It doesn’t have glass shelves like normal which is what’s throwing me off, but the matte black ones in the photo. Mirrored, and apparently was in service at a retail sports shop.

What would be a decent offer?

I have this exact case, but mine had plexiglass shelves. Only things I had to do was minimal cleaning and replace the fluorescent bulbs, one ring clip for
one of the top lights, and get a new lock and key. I paid 225 a few years back.

Amazing collection! What’s your favorite pair out of all of them?

I ended up getting it. I had been looking for an older Jim-Era one, but this was a good deal for me in the interim.

It is in really decent condition, not perfect and I need to get plexi/tempered glass shelves cut, locks and new bottom fluorescents, but it cleaned up well and will work for me. Some scraps/scuffs here and there but otherwise nice. Fitting it in my ride was easy enough, but it *just* fit - it is definitely a behemoth!

I actually found an interesting YouTube video of a guy who got one and went about restoring one:

Thank you, as for favorite pair, I suppose it changes all the time! The pair I currently wear the most is Cinelli Eye Jacket Redux, the pair I wore the most in the past 10 years was probably Tailend Pewter \ Fire Iridium. Favorite of all my stuff is probably Medusa, Worn once for some pics and promptly taken off and never to be worn again :)

As for your case, it looks pretty good, and I also watched the video you posted a link to a while back when I got my case. As for the parts you need, let me know if you need help finding those, as I ordered all that on amazon, found a lock that worked for the cabinet below as well as the door locks, just had to cut one piece with a hacksaw(took about 30 seconds to do) for the door locks, but then i had one key for all three locks. I also got the lights on amazon and they worked out perfectly. As for shelves, I did look into getting glass ones, got a quote it, was going to be like 150.00 for all 4 shelves here locally.

Amazing you have Medusas! That’s a great piece, not sure I would wear it but as an artifact of the era it’s nearly unbeatable.

I would definitely like the link for the locks you used if possible, and I am going to get a quote for the shelves but wanted to nail down the dimensions first to bring them, do you have those?

Thanks again for the guidance!

Here is the link to the locks:

Uenhoy 4 Pack Tubular Cam Locks Keyed Alike 3/4 Inch, RV Locks Replacement, Cabinet Cam Lock Set for Mailbox Tool Box Vending Machine ATM

When looking at the pics of the lock on amazon, the piece that shows 1.85 inches, i had to cut the end down a bit for the top door so that they would open and close properly. The lock on the bottom I didn't have to do anything else to it.

And for the fluorescent lights:

LEDVANCE 15W 18" T8 Linear Fluorescent Lamp, 4200K, 825 Lm, Non-Dimmable, Cool White - 1 Pack (21619)

As for the shelves, the ones in my case are NOT original, but they fit and work for now. I just measured and the dimensions are 21.5 inches wide and 14.75 inches deep. Looking as the shelves sit in my case, they could probably be 21.75 inches wide, but the depth looks about as good as it can be.

And lastly, I love my Medusa!

Perfect, thank you so much. Ordering the locks, and I might go source those bulbs in town!
