Unfortunantly you have joined a growing group of people in search of what is now classified a unicorn... my advice is scour the 3rd world sites especially local ones where all the shady people are and find a real clunker of a MM cheap... keep it around for parts. You will spend half as much just on a crown and that is IF you can find one. Good luck man... may the watch gods keep blessing me that this never happens here... (knocks on wood, spits, throws salt over shoulder)

I think at worst that becomes your clunker and you switch the dark earth face to a newer MM.

Yea I told him about the same. I had to buy a beater to get a good stem for my custom one I bought off flea bay but seller worked with me so I wasn’t out, but a few hundred dollars. I had them set it and put new battery in donor watch before they pulled good stem. Now if we could get these ya hoo’s in DC to stop this fall back time I’d be good. lol

Mid day change up since I got like 8 of my Oakley watches back from the watch repair place. Needed batteries. . Every time I grab one i see one that’s not running. I don’t like to leave them on dead batteries never know if I want to wear that “ONE’ lol . Wanted to wear this blue faced blade the other day on metal but dead battery all good now. Yay
