Yes, It can be frosted.

Verrrrrrry Interesting...That makes it more of a matte olive. I was toying with just sending this pair off for a refinishing (as well as a Matte Olive Ink Drop Point which I'm also not fond of the color). I guess there is no harm in trying a frosting first if it's going to be refinished anyway.

Exactly what I was thinking...strong possibility there. Now I just need to borrow and learn how to use a sand blaster and an air brush!
