What Oakleys Are You Wearing Today??

Now that you've tried a pair on...... Whatcha think?

The Colettes? They were awesome!

J/K I know what you mean... ;)

I liked them more than I thought I would. What really surprised me was the flex in the earstems; not nearly as rigid as I expected. And they had great balance; I guess those cutouts on the inside of the frame helped that.

I also didn't realize they had an x-metal-esque orbital break / screws in the lower outside corners for swapping lenses; subtly done. And, of course, the machined carbon cosmetics were beautiful.

Most surprising was that they actually suited me.

I'll never own a pair but I'm extremely thankful for the opportunity to check them out and try them on.

What's not so X-Metal-esque is the amount of flex once you remove the screws from those orbitals and pry them apart to change lenses. I almost **** myself while taking my set apart and bending those carbon fiber orbitals apart. It felt like they were going to snap any second. I was sweating.

I previously thought you just popped them in and out like with o-matters; always thought that was a ballsy move...

Both are ballsy moves, haha. It's not a comfortable feeling, especially after doing the same thing with X-Metals for many years, which you can pry pretty damn hard. That lower portion of the C-Six orbital flexes with the slightest of pressure.
