I only seen a handful pairs for at least half a decade..lolz.

I don't think it is a case of the X-Metals popularity... it is just only few has them... the forum is kinda deceiving to make it seems we are many but we aren't imho.

Never were too many of them (they have always been expensive) and they have been discontinued for a while now. Consider how most people take care of their sunglasses and the number of wearable ones with decent lenses should decline even more..

Observation.....ever since I recently discovered xmetal line, I've been on the lookout for
any one else wearing xmetal frames, I've been to the beach, on numerous
occasion, the county fair, many outdoor events, and nothing! I have yet to see
any one wearing them. Are they just not popular in general? Or am I years too late
and the popularity has diminished????

in a year and a half of wearing Oakleys, I've seen a total of two Juliets being worn out in public.....

They were never super popular because of the price point. Not many people crazy enough to drop 400 bucks on a pair of shades. But keep looking! They are out there! Since i have been at disneyland this week i have seen some pennys and a R2. I see juliets the most (most common x metal sold), but keep on the hunt!
