I had some Oil Rigs some eons ago, but they never worked for me. But when I saw the Shawn White Offshoot in Gold, they just popped and I bought them on the spot. The Oakley shields typically don't work, but the Offshoot is the largest one from what I've seen.

By the way the lens are gold, I did some photo manipulation with an app.

I've never seen that pair on anyone's face before. Just the usual stand-alone stock photos. They look pretty sharp, actually. Good choice for the day.

The fit is, as you would expect, very much like a Hijinx. The lenses are not as tall as a Hijinx, and they are a bit heavier due to the electronics within, but other than that it's really similar to wear.

And they do look pretty sick, if I say so myself.

That is a much better shot. I agree, they're sick shades. I really like them. Hmm...might have to try tracking down a pair for myself. Probably won't be an easy task, though.

Yeah, they don't show up for sale that often - and there weren't many released in the first place.

You never know though, Oakley might "do a Who Is This Kid" and suddenly release another few hundred of them out of the blue, thereby further reducing the worth of my collection.

Officer Rustpot, reporting. On the way into work, wishing like hell I brought something a little darker than warm grey. At least I have something at work for the ride home.

To me, they give you the look of a corrupt county sheriff from the movies:
