What Oakleys Are You Wearing Today??

The males near me stick their head right up to my sternum... they are ruthless. I'm not scared of them... but they won't leave people alone. Sometimes I'll hear screaming... and it's mothers and kids being chased by the male turkeys LOL. When I run/walk alone... they'll chase me for a 1/4 mile then give up. If I walk with my wife, I have bring my bo with me to poke them away. They only back off when you get a little physical with them. Then as soon as you get on your way, they come back for more. I'd shoot them for Sunday dinner, but I'd probably get arrested for using my pistol.
Take a Turkey leg with you next time and show them what happens when they act tuff.

Or you could mount a broadhead on the end of your bo and spear it.

You'd get cited for killing a game bird with no hunting license, no specific turkey tag, killing out of season AND use of pistol, at minimum. Then you'll probably lose your FPIC card.
