I had the same concerns. I had a MM for a few days, bought it expressly for the good price as trade bait to get my Romeo. I don't wear watches though, so it's tough to justify. I have a 45mm titanium pilot hand wind, I'd say the MM wears about as big lug-to-lug, just not as wide. Or maybe it's the MM's wide band that makes it feel like a narrow case. Not bad, but I don't wear jewelry at all. If you like bracelets, I'd go for a MM hands down.
