I was disappointed when they vanished the first time. When they reappeared and didn't sell out quickly, I figured that it was meant for me to have. I am leaning towards BIP, chrome, or fire.

If chrome is available DO IT for sure. I got first pair of chrome iridium in the new valves (that you dislike) and I love em. They would look great in that clear.
