What Oakleys Are You Wearing Today??

Be safe over there Washi! What you are doing for the city of Kathmandu is so amazing. You will be entering a disaster zone to help save the lives of many. If only there were more people in the world like you... My thoughts are with you and your family as you embark on this tough journey. Safe travels my friend.

thanks bro! actually Kathmandu is not hit that hard... the outside districts were the most affected. We did an assessment yesterday in Nuwakot district and there's a lot of people without homes, food, water and medical care. we will be moving out tomorrow to set up the field hospital on that district.

On a side note, i have seen a lot of Red cross- Red crescent representatives, rescue groups, medical personnel coming from all parts of the world. There are even search dogs from canada, teams from norway, finland, UK, china, japan, singapore, US, philippines, etc... what i find ironic was the realization that a disaster can make the world united... but why there are some countries who wants to make wars with their neighbors over the reason of land, oil or some disputes, or racism still is a problem... its just overwhelming that people came here in Nepal without regards to there safety or thinking about rewards or recognition, or they even left their own families just to help complete strangers.... just a piece of my mind bros....
