I "get" to hear a lot of German accents; some are nearly unintelligible, others are quite refined. That example is one of the latter.

But the earlier comment makes me think of my other BIL (The Wife's brother, not my sister's husband). He grew up in Hong Kong but moved to Australia for school and married an Asian who grew up there. They both have Australian accents with their English, her more so. But what I find entertaining is her Cantonese has an Australian accent, too. I can't understand it, but I can hear it...

My Germay is like a native German, no Asian slang or influence and my English is pretty good I would say
Sorry no Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan or Jet Li slang
Same Same but different as Thai people often like to say
