What Oakleys Are You Wearing Today??

What boy would not want a Ferrari? Not sure I would/could ever buy one though, it's just not a car you can jump into and drive when ever. Have you priced out just a simple oil change on one?

Yeah I've done a bit of research. Most costly maintenance is the belt service 3-5K. I probably wouldn't drive it enough to worry about the oil change intervals much. If I could pull off an F430, belt service intervals are farther apart, but I'm not looking in that ball park just now. F430 would have to drop a bit more in price before I could consider it.

Had. My first I bought when I was 20, it was an 84' :behindsofa:. My second was an 02' C5. Traded that one for a Cayman, traded that for a 911 C2 Cab, traded that for a Targa, which is my current. Prob won't trade this one. Just going to wait til I can pick up a 360 Modena. Had an opportunity to get one for 55k, but timing was off for me.
Woohoo, nice set of vehicles! That 360 is beautiful!! That used to be my dream car.

I looked at a F355 Spider (Pipe dream) and they where telling me the Oil change was $800.00 (Ferrari dealer comes to your house to flatbed car to dealer for service)

Doesn't have to be a dream, bro. They've gotten quite affordable, well, for a Ferrari.

Here's the old C5

Not a bad deal there. Maserati is about $1200.00, Porsche charges $400.00 and gives you a loaner, but on the bright side, with modern synthetics, it's only usually once a year.

I also looked at the F355. It's has advantages over its' predecessor, but have heard bad reviews in regards to them breaking down quite often and needing lots of costly repairs. Have not owned one of course, just through research on this model. I thought it might make a good starter, but the overwhelming consensus heavily favors the 360 for a starter.

I think your on to something there ;)
