The first time I saw that, we were in Target; some leashed kid started walking away from his parent. When he reached the end of his tether, it stopped him short suddenly enough that he fell on his ass. I laughed about it, pointed it out to The Wife...

I had been paying so much attention to the leashed kid that I hadn't even glanced at the parent. But The Wife did and recognized him - it was one of my old best friends, have known him since middle school. Hadn't seen him in about a year. We took the opportunity to catch up a bit.

It was funny at the time...

I thought that you were paying attention to the leashed kid and at the same time your own kid walked away hehehe that would be quite funny ...now.
