These days, they teach people in university that they are not in control of their environment and will forever be at a disadvantage. They teach that the reason they can't get the job they want, the lifestyle they want, was because they were not lucky at the lottery of life.

My opinion: Sure, you can start at a disadvantage, but it's up to you to change your situation. For the most part, you can educate yourself. University has taught me very little other than have a badge saying that I am capable of completing a task. That too, IMO, is losing its value for anything other than STEM majors.

My friends woman said her daughter cant afford to live on her own.

I guess I can come clean now. I’m not from Mexico. And I’m a citizen. Probably won’t vote for Trump. 2016 was handed to Hillary on a silver platter and I was all in. Until about August. Or something. She ****ed it up good and proper. Bravo to her for really just making the impossible possible. I often wonder if Trump ever sent her a thank you gift.
