Wife dropped her 3 week old G3 that I bought outright to avoid a contract on AT&T. Some minor dings but otherwise OK and working fine. She wakes me up this morning and somehow overnight the screen cracked from edge to edge and the digitizer is only working intermittently. Dammit.

The only silver lining is that I've dealt with the warranty department at lg before and the turnaround time is very fast. Probably going to have them do a full refurb on the phone so its like new again which will run about $200. Just paid $500 for it though...

Ouch! I had my phone run over by a bus within a week of buying it. Only thing that saved me at the time was the insurance. I would have cried if I couldn't replace it.
