Think I ended up with 25+ Radar lenses back then The fire set you got was one of them

I ended up with way more than that... Actually way more than I should have really. But I did get also Radarlock and M Frame lenses in those deals. I gave a bunch away to some riding buddies and others to the younger kids in our team.

Someone here bought a bunch of stuff then and immediately put them on eBay for a hefty markup (yet still less than retail). It was funny cause you could see a lot that was being sold here and a week or so later whoever bought it put them up on eBay. Never could figure out who it waa here but he/she still has stuff from back then listed.

Got some insane deals from him on other things as well. Supplied the family with Radars and let them choose some lenses each

Scalping is a bit distasteful, but not much that can be really done about it anyway.

My take on scalping/flipping is this - if you got a deal and want to flip, go ahead. This isn't an investment - so for every pair you make money on, there's about three that you lose money on. If we lost money on all of our frames, GFs and wives would be giving us headaches.

However, where I draw the line is deals obtained via favors/intentionally selling extremely cheap. By this, I mean, getting a deal from someone who went out of their way or by getting a deal from someone who sold you an item cheap knowing it is worth way more. Personally, for me, in that situation, I would contact that person and ask him/her if it's okay/chance to buy it back. I would also offer to split the profit - whatever he/she preferred.

It's just a personal opinion, though. I get that some people use their hobby to make money and like @NoFair stated, not much can be done about it. I would just avoid giving deals to a person who I know would flip it.
