What Really Grinds Your Gears?

I thought it was a law that that stuff had to be in your hands by 1/31?

Its "supposed to be" postmarked by that day. If someone sends it late and you dont claim it the IRS can still audit you and make you ammend your taxes. Ive had it happen.

I actually didn't do as bad as I could have. But it sucks having to pay any taxes at the end of the years.

Yeah, the wife and I got hit on our “regular” jobs. I always hold back 50% of any 1099 contractor/consulting work I do...I’m thankful I did as it looks like I’ll need it all.

We have both changed out W-4s to help ease the pain next year. Taxes suck...

I more than tripled my freelance work this year. We had two new stadiums open up this year. And it created a problem. Next year I will probably double what I did this year. And it is all good. We racked up some serious debt a few years back and this is going to help knock done of it off. But it is never fun writing the tax man a check. Bah
