What would you do with a still sealed boxed X Metal?

I don't know why you wouldn't wear them... they were made to be worn, enjoyed, and maintained. Also, if I were the owner of those sealed pairs, I would not sell them on eBay. If someone bought them on eBay, received them, opened them up, and the foam was deteriorating, damaged the microfiber bag, and even schmutzed-up a lens, they would be within their right to return them for a full refund... unless of course the seller stated all of these potential problems in the item description. BUT... a little secret... the buyer can still return them at the seller expense... it's just how feeBay works. On top of all of that, the seller has to pay feeBay almost 14% in fees, and will be graced with a 1099 form for all of his troubles. Even if he sells them on eBay for $1350, after fees and income taxes, he will be left with approximately $850-$900, which is what a gently worn, complete Crater is worth to me.
