Where Did Your Forum User Name Come From?

My username is a public admittance of demons I struggle with daily. Having used drugs heavily in the past, I have and always will have an addictive personality. I also have ADHD. So by capitalizing the letters ADD, my username represents me in that sense as well. Plus, I think it's fair to say all of us are somewhat addicted to our hobbies ;). Glad to be here.

LOL. Mine is my actual name. I usually have ultraracingph as my User Name in forums which represents my company...but when I realized I couldn't change my user name here it was too late. :p

You CAN change your name here if you really want to......

You just have to speak to @OakleyBoss about getting it done. Then again....we know you already by this name ;)

Take a guess....lol:D

For some reason my Mom's brother, my Uncle Dave, started calling me "Zeke" at a very young age, & still does. It did not catch on with anyone else in the family, so I have only heard it from him - so it makes it special - I sometimes even say it is "Zeke" when I call him.

I do not know why I used Zeke here, because in all other Forums I am in, I simply use my last name.

He also nicknamed me "Racin' Jason" at the age of five when I started racing quarter-midgets ... & occasionally he still does let that one through. ... & that one brings me to a somewhat interesting story:

Here back in June, at the NHRA Thunder Valley Nationals at Bristol Dragway, I got the Infinite Hero Challenge Coin holder from the O Tent & took it to Jack Beckman to have him autograph it. Upon him grabbing it from me & going to snag an actual coin, he asked me if I wanted it signed to me, ... I said, "Absolutely.", & told him my name is Jason. A minute or so later, he returns with the coin holder. It is closed.

He shakes my hand, poses for a photo, & thanks me ... then moves on to the next fan in line.

As I walk away, I open the coin holder & the beginning reads, "To Racin' Jason," in silver Sharpie!!

Now, yeah, people with the name Jason hear that often if they are somehow involved in racing, or the like, ... but that was just cool as HeII. Just another O item that I will never sell.

Mine actually came from my love of knives. It has been the name I've used on the knife forums I've been a part for many years. Have not had any other forum names, so just carried over. It still applies loosely here in that one can look sharp with sunglasses. Well, that's how I justify it anyway. Lol.
