Oakley's standard impact protection is a 0.25" ball at 102 MPH to meet ANSI Z87.1

Military ballistic standards (specifically MIL-PRF-31013) are a 0.15" diameter cylindrical slug at 436 MPH (640ft/s)


Those are some badass shades.

I became a lifelong Oakley fan after some SI Ballistic 2.0 glasses saved my left eye back in January 2009, and these just seem to fit the bill for me.

I'm already on the backorder list for the Gunmetal Grey ones from Oakley SI.
