I understand you are Scottish…a “Scot” …and you also have recently admitted in public forum to drinking beer. Might I then say that by drinking beer in the very home and heartland of one of the finest whiskies in the world, you are walking away from the Scotch ethos

I love a single malt. I love it a bit too much, so only drink it on special occasions. Birthdays, Christmas day, any day with day in its name, etc.
Balvenie Double Wood is a favourite, and not too expensive.
I actually just mostly drink beer these days.

Just my opinion.
X metals are industrial. They are machined from titanium, a difficult metal to work with.
The frames should pay homage to this, and not be changed.
If you change the colour, you walk away from this ethos.
What do you think?
