Cutting Lenses - What Works

Wonder if anyone has tried using the Flak Jacket XLJ lenses for the Juliet.... they have Ice Iridium polarized, shallow blue iridium polarized, deep blue iridium polarized and 00 red iridium polarized. However, looking at the required cut, it looks like you'd have to chop a portion of the "polarized" lettering on the lens off. Will probably look like a hack job unless you can either preserve it (unlikely) or completely remove it (unlikely).

Yea. That's what keeps me from having a OO BIP Romeo 1. No way to do it with the polar etching on there

Hey what do you think about the Split Jacket OO RIP for XX, Juliet or R1? Think the Polarized etching can be preserved? Definitely more likely than the Flak Jacket XLJ

For a Juliet sure. For a split, not so much. A Romeo lens just barely comes out of a split lens
