Especially considering the price of a tune up from a pro is cheaper than a half decent meal. Sometimes you just have to spend the damn money.Speaking of "right" tools... this was painful to watch.
A proper pin pusher is less than 100 if you're super inclined to do it yourself (but like you said you could get a complete tune up done for that).Especially considering the price of a tune up from a pro is cheaper than a half decent meal. Sometimes you just have to spend the damn money.
Those are a bit tricky, for me at least , unless modified. A flat tipped pin is hard to keep on a rounded pin. Especially when its spinning. I filed the pushing pin tip flat, carefully punched it and drilled it slightly concave. Now it always stays centered with good purchase on the pin.A proper pin pusher is less than 100 if you're super inclined to do it yourself (but like you said you could get a complete tune up done for that).
