Mostly because of the feedback from members. I have considered keeping the site running, but many members, as the poll shows, would like to see the exchange sections return to the old requirements. Even after the requirements are dropped, the site will continue to run for a few months, as members finish transactions and listings expire. We will not just delete the site overnight.

We may continue to have the site run, make improvements, even if we drop the requirements for the exchange sections.

In that case I would say option 2 but maintaining the 30 day/50 post requirement. Also, all prices should be quoted inclusive of paypal fees - no gifted payments.

It seems like an overwhelming amount of you have spoken. We will be lowering the exchange requirements. The new requirements will be 14 days and 15 posts. Please remember that while performing transactions in the exchange sections you are doing so at your own risk. If you choose to gift a payment to a member, you will have no course of action. Always pay the paypal fees, it isn't worth loosing hundreds of dollars because you wouldn't pay 3%!

Also remember that this board has a strict policy against "calling out" other members on the board. If your transaction went bad, you can leave the member bad feedback via the iTrader platform, but you CANNOT create a thread yelling at the member. All matters should be settled via PM, if need be you may involve a moderator or administrator, but remember you are proceeding at your own risk, and we will be able to do very little for you!

Per members requests, we will leave OakleyExchange.com, and try to work out some of the bugs plaguing members. The future of the site remains uncertain, but we will see.

Option #2 as well. The previous system was working fine, so why change?
