Fakes Or The Real Thing?

im looking at mine and i think the vents are way off. the icon is very suspect too...

i say fake!

The first thing that come to me is that they look too plastic to be real. The icons dont look as though they are set right due to as has been said there is no raised part around it.

Price is a dead give away also. Have you reported these fakes to Oakley?

I don't think they care. I never see anything happen to the eBay fakes I have reported.

i'm a little late on this,but also voting fake...
cloth is a dead giveaway... the vents look pretty off to me...
as well as the colors on the o-matter,and the o itself looks a bit off...

Oakley is the only company I know of (there may be more?) that has a link on their home page asking people to report fakes.

They can't stop the companies in China making the fakes, since China doesn't abide by copyright laws. What Oakley can do is be aware of how big of a market there is for fakes and decide how much legal pressure they wish to put on customs and domestic retailers to no longer allow fakes to be imported.
