I forgot to ask and not to show my ignorance but what color/finish are those frames? Sorry this is only my second pair of metals.

How can I tell when I get them? What does kind of appearance does it carry?

Compared to say, plasma, x-metal would have a darker, raw finish and would be matte-like, as compared to plasma which has a smooth finish.

Is this in reference to my above question? Meaning these are 2 tell tale signs of fakes?

So how do I know whether they are blue iridium or merely ice?

I received them this weekend and can not tell. I tried to take some pics though outside they didnt turn out well. Maybe they help, maybe they dont.

How can I tell? The ice I have on other shades doesnt have the purple hues as deep around the edges as these do. And looking straight at them the color is much deeper blue than what Ice is. Now did the Ice shade change over the years??
