LINEGEAR Japan Corner, Q&A, latest update

P.s.
dear linegear
imo the repl rubber is a bit too thin and/or soft
You are not the first one with this observation. I believe that LG has no plans to stiffen up their couplers.
Glad that the tool worked and that your operation was a success!

Hi

i just got the Pin removal Tool and gave it a try on a juliet which i dont really care of

First i wanted to blunt the needle but didnt find a proper way to do it
So i just went on pushed the Pin out
Pin came out very easy, i hardly had to apply pressure
needle didnt leave a dimple on the pin

Rubber change and back in, had no Problems at all
of course i did this carefully and aligned the bridge precisely
i Put some sticky Paper on the downside so there wont be scratches and it worked well, left no scars

I used the same pins and theyre still tight

Dont know if other frames are harder to dis and reassemble but in my case it was very easy
in near Future i will Do it again on another juliet, will also take pictures next time if there is interest

Since everything worked out well yet, i can recommend the tool

imo the repl rubber is a bit too thin and/or soft
maybe u could make that more stiff or sthg
frame of course is much tighter than before, but not factory tight
so this could be improved imo
but in general im very happy with the device!
Yes, please do post pics and report back on your second attempt. I was thinking about buying the tool today but see they are all out of couplers, so no point!

Hi. Just wondered if anyone can tell me if the Temple Washers for any of the other x-metal frames would work for the Romeo 1? Not sure if the Temple Washers from the XX, Mars or Juliet would work for the Romeo 1?
Thanks.
