Well got back my X-Metal XX from X-man, the nose bridge is better than new, installed my fire red walleva lenses(i know some people said that doesnt worth to be installed on a oakley frames ), everythings is perfect, but last week found my old 24K lenses(new) and tried to fit my XX, the gap of the new lenses are too much!! so the scews will not thight enough. Any ideas? need to trim it?.

My X-Metal XX are about 9 years old

At this point i have 2 new 24K and 1 new irid. Black, 1 walleva red fire.

Havent tested the ones that i got 2 weeks ago from Oakley cause are brand new so i just want to figure out why the ones that i did have as spares(24K) doesnt fit.

  2. Hate to think you haven't checked already, but are you 100% sure the 24k lenses you have are for xmetal XX and not for the Omatter XX?

got the same experience before, I bought a replacement lens black irid from the oakley website for my 1st gen tio2 xx. When i got home and installed the new lenses, it was a bit bigger so I ended up shaving/cutting a little to close the orbitals with the screws.

the part that I shaved is at the bottom curve near the nose pads.

I had the same issue. I got a original XX X-metal and ordered new lenses from Oakley. With the ones they sent me the orbitals would not close. I ended up returning them and getting a pair on the bay for less.
