Oily Ear Socks & Nose Pieces

On my radars they get this oily residue on the ear socks and nose pieces. What is this from? Can i stop it?

Its from your sweat getting on them... the only way to fix it is to either replace the ear socks and nose piece or you can boil them for about 5 mins

I've always used a little purel hand sanitizer on a paper towel to wipe down my nose and ear pieces. Always worked great for me.
