Pennys and serial no.

I think Titanium/Ice was the only one that had the possibility of released without serials. All other frames should have serials unless it's some sort of warranty frame or custom refinish.

the xmetal/rubies also came out with non serial frames.

Hi. I can help solve this.

I had serialized pennys purchased in 2000. The nose bridge eventually came loose (as they all did) and I shipped them back to oakley under warranty (they honored it for years knowing they ****ed up with the rubber). The first time I sent them back, they repaired them and the pair I received back was the same. The second time, they simply sent me a new pair with no serial number.

They stopped marking xmetals with serial numbers in 2004. I got my 2nd repair done that summer, and the pair they sent had no serial.
