Hell even if you pop in a pair of VL or some other brand to use them as a daily wearer you could probably come in under $200. Not all of us put them on display. $200 for a pair of Romeo's for daily use if a steal

For daily use with VL's yeah, but just looking at some recent sold auctions you are talking between $90 for some decent gold lenses, to $245 for some NOS fire ones. Most are in the $120-$150 range though. If you want your rubber in new condition as well, you are talking another $60 for nose bombs and socks,
