Set a limit on amount of sales posts currently active by 1 member?

Wondering if there is a way that we can stop having an entire sales page dominated by a single persons numerous threads….

They can make a thread and put all the links to their sale threads in one post, then bump that one post instead of bumping all the sale threads

I have been on a few watch forums that limit the number of for sale threads per person on the first page. And if they put more or bump more (limit to 3 on most), then they are all removed.

I agree, i think that max 3 or 5 in a row is a good standard. and then wait for 3 or 5 other threads or wait 1 day if there is no other threads before posting/bump more threads.

As of now, there is no rule or limit to the number of consecutive posts. It doesn’t bother me to scroll past sale threads that don’t interest me, but apparently it bothers other people. Over the next week or so, I will work on consolidating my threads into fewer threads.
