I'd say they are more charcoal gray than black.

I'm going with Ecko. They are a charcoal grey with metal flakes. The finish is really beautiful.

They are pre ordering the black ones. Desert sage is ib stock. They wont have the black ones until 10-15, but you do need to buy your place in line.
