The bottom 2 look the same color frames.

Anyway, what do you mean by "as durable as xmetal" ?
The difference between Ti and plasma definitely seems more pronounced in the Juliets than the Romeos, but you might be able to notice that the bottom pair in dragonvoi's photo is shinier than the middle pair?

The bottom two are very different in person I see the original TI bone finish like X metal but more of a tan color. The plasma is a milky flat finish. The TI and more porous looking finishes tend to discolor overtime with black markings specially if you don't clean them it's mostly sweat and oils that cause it.

How about a picture with different plasmas through out all the generations?
I posted some comparisons between 1st and 4th gens of plasma a while back:

4th and 5th are more or less indistinguishable, 2nd and 3rd a slow transition from the sort of powder finish of 1 to the stainless steel of 4.
