@Sunglass Shack has a thread going about some stuff he saw at a dealer's convention and has talked about the new Prizm lenses. He mentions the varieties they are coming out with in this post:

Obviously he had a little fun with it, so why can't we, too?

What application-specific Prizm lens would you like to see Oakley release?

Your answer can be serious or a joke. Hopefully the rest of us can tell the difference...

Also, if you haven't seen it already, here's a link to the Oakley site describing Prizm for snow; it's pretty cool:

    I'll start, a serious one:

I'd like to see a "driving in heavy rain"-specific one. If it can bring out half the additional detail as the example on that Oakley page, win!

From what was explained on how the technology works, I don't think it can do that, but yeah, it'd be cool if it could... as would be a working copy of the good ol' "x-ray" glasses...

Serious: Computer screen application. It seems periodically we have someone inquiring what one wears when stuck in office hell staring at screens all day.

    Semi-serious: Beer goggle application

Well, I'm not a hunter myself, but I bet they could sell a few pairs with some game-specific lenses. Imagine some lenses that make, for example, a mule deer stand out against the background. It'd be the next best thing to a heads-up-display that highlights targets..

Or, for the paranoid hiker: lenses that make bears or mountain lions stick out like a sore thumb :p
