someone thought it looked like an owl I guess.

Well, except in English the o is the o in otter not the o in rose that you use in the US, so Stav-ross, Dav-ross. Definitely not Dav-rose, how Stavros pronounces his name has more to do with Greek than any flavour of English

roblaudrup
rob : from my name robert
laudrup : from my favorite soccer player "Michael laudrup"
btw my middle name is michael
so a few(million) times I called myself michael laudrup

I don't watch soccer, but if I did, I probably would have gotten that one......
