Value of Oakley watches

is there a list of Oakley watches from most expensive to cheapest going around? if so can some explain why some are more expensive then others? as much detail as possible. Appreciated.

Look through this, it’s a complete list with prices when they came out, nowadays those prices has risen since they are no longer made, so like eBay their made of gold in some people’s mind

I’ll take a stab at the top few, even tho it’s widely opinion based...

In my opinion, cost wise:

1. The FMJ watch is up there towards the top. This is because it was overpriced from day one as well as limited in production and a premium for the automatic mechanics.

2. Also at the top sit both the live strong and standard Time Bomb 2s. These are part of the elite line and automatic watches as well. The live strong is the rarer of the two. These get rarer every year due to the bands needing cut to size for ur wrist and the bands are no longer in production making them a commodity

3. The gold time bomb 1 is also in the top range somewhere, likely above the time bomb 2s listed above, sorry for this one out of order. Limited production and gold result in the higher price

4. The red, then the black diamond faced minute machines would be next IMO. They’re costly because of limited production as well as diamonds...

5. The automatic gearbox with the titanium band would be below the diamond minute machines it is high on the list because only 300 or so were serialized that came with the titanium band on them. 700 or so had the rubber strap. Not saying u can’t find a titanium band and slap on one of the rubber strap versions, but u would know it’s not exactly original...


And these are only the ones I know of, could be some one offs or some limited versions I haven’t seen or heard of, I have limited knowledge

I have reading the Oakley watch forum and I am just amazed at some of the prices for watches. must be really rare to be worth $1000's of ( US) dollars. lol.

Well there’s a reason why they don’t make em anymore... if it wasn’t for the brand and the design elements of the cases and bands that are distinctly Oakley I’m sure they wouldn’t be worth near what they are.

Honestly the movements to my understanding were not the highest quality like certain other luxury watch brands.

Not much to add to this but in addition to those mentioned certain colorways of the MM fetch more money along with the Yellow and Red Cannon TB1’s and the 12 Gauge. Regardless of the movement inside Oakley watches represent something more than just time keeping. They represent the brand. Stylish, in your face, shameless, provocative, sexy, cutting edge and always uniquely identifiable.

Completely agree with this, u won’t find another watch that even comes close in style to Oakley watches
