Hey all, I am having a big problem with my 2 recent Oakley purchases. Hopefully some of yall can give me some advice.

About 3 months ago, I purchased a pair of Gibston's, with the prizm black polarized lenses. The glasses fit perfect, no pressure on my nose, or anywhere on my head. The problem is, within 5 minutes, I get a big headache, presumably from the glasses. I figured this was an issue with the particular style, and maybe the wrap around design just wont work for me. After taking them off, the headache goes away.

Fast forward to now, I just ordered a pair of custom Holbrook's, with the same prizm black polarized iridium lenses. I guess I was hoping that the more "squared" style would get rid of my issues. Unfortunately, within 5 minutes of wearing these, I get the same headache! SOOOOOO frustrating! Again, after taking them off, the headache is gone.

What I have noticed with both of these, while looking through the lenses, everything seems kind of "blurry" for a split second. Almost like "out of focus." I cant for the life of me figure out what's going on. To make this more difficult, I have a pair of cheap Walmart polarized glasses that I can wear no problem at all, all day long, and no headache.

I dug up a pair of my old Flak Jackets, that are non polarized, non prizm lenses in a pink/red frame color. I REALLY want to love my 2 new pairs, but I cant live with the constant headaches I get while wearing them. Not to mention, my new pair are customs, so im stuck with them. Has anyone else experienced this? Hopefully there is an easy solution. By thy way, I do NOT wear any type of prescription glasses, never have. My vision is perfect. Please help! Thank you all in advance.

Ive had issues with Polarised lens giving with headaches with some brands, I've only got the deep water in Polarised from oakley, and that works fine.

do you know how to check polarization? I have heard of some pairs coming from Oakley where they are off and need to be replaced.

look up polarization test for sunglasses to see if that is it

Im not doubting yall, but why would my cheap $20 pair of polarized glasses be just fine, but my $200 pair of polarized Oakley's give me a hard time?

I just realized that my last paragraph was incomplete! I dug up an old pair of Flak Jackets with a pink/red LENSE, not frame. These are non polarized, no prizm lenses, and they work just fine.

I doubt that I have received 2 different pairs of sunglasses, that are both "not correct". Thank you for your reply, but I do not believe that both pairs of sunglasses are defective.

Have you tried any different Oakley polarized lens? It does seem like certain lens cause headaches for some people. Maybe try prizm deep water polarized or prizm sapphire polarized just to see if Oakley polarized in general causes problems, or it is specific to prizm black polarized.
