X metal is a composition of five different metals, only one of which is titanium. Can’t say for certain what exactly it is, but it does look like rust, and I did not want to mess with it because the whole piece is so untouched.

Untrue they are Ti with ppm of other metals but basically all Ti.

Nucchem, I'd love to hear more about this. I'm sure my terminology might not match a metallurgists' but seriously, my layman's understanding found it kinda funny...that after i say "it's 5 metals" then you say (in a fancier way) "no, it's mostly 1 metal plus other metals" i can't help but be curious about the specifics. once again, i'm being serious, not trying to poke the bear
