Kobe III Protro "Halo"

Didn't want to do all white but the return of the III was a long time coming for me. This looks more compelling in-hand imo, and the upgrades over the original sound more promising. If there's a black pair on the horizon I might have to do an instant double.

Air Jordan 40 "Blue Suede"

What happened to slowing down? Had a coupon to use, the build on paper sounded pretty good, and well, it's the 40th.

Only shot around in these so far but they definitely feel better than the 38. Traction and stability + containment is solid. I don't think these are anywhere near the top of aesthetics when it comes to Air Jordan, but I've wanted them to just make a no-nonsense shoe that actually comes with quality again. Most every mainline model in the past decade carries some kind of ridiculous weak point. This might finally live up to what it should be.
