Any Sneakerheads In The House?

Grabbed another pair of Fear 3’s to actually wear instead of store and collect. Lmao. 🤣

Agreed. But these damn Jordan’s aren’t really that comfortable to tell you the truth. Heavy and constrictive actually. But I do like to collect them and wear a few pairs. This fear 3 being one of them. The rare air ones too. The rare air 3 and 4. Bought duplicates of those too to wear.

Jordan 1's are comfortable as hell. I wear every single pair that I have. My Spoderman Origin Story 1's are my favorite. They look like Chicago's from afar but, up close, they have the Spiderman vibes and details.

There's very few pairs I've never worn out the door, and fewer I've kept pure DS.
To be honest, most are panning out to be regrets. In my case, I don't deliberately hold to sell, nor really am trying to have a collection like that. Exceptions are some definitive (to me) pairs, with a higher probability of wanting to always have in rotation - Jordan 4 WC, Jordan 11 Black/Red, Foamposite Royal.

I guess if money and especially space was better, I really would be having my own mini-museum/library for my own fascination. It is just stuff at the end of the day, but those were ideas that won over people with more of just a player's influence, and less of the media-driven sensationalism that exists today. The people behind designing and launching those products had an inspiration and their livelihoods rode success of those products.

Of course you can say that with other material things, but I guess the sneaker space has been one of the more relevant cases for me. Once upon a time, Oakley was in that type of discussion.

Tell me about it. I'm a bit of a hoarder.
