Any Sneakerheads In The House?

Another pick-up before my Off-White UNC and shadow AJ1 comes in.
—————-Air Jordan 1 “Homage to Home”. —————-

I would say the leather quality on these was suuuuperb, the softest leather i ever owned on all my jordan retros. The look is odd because of the split in the middle but daaaamn when i open the box it smells like a new car with leather seats. Im Glad that I copped this pair

I pressed the toe box for leather soft test and the leather didnt comeback to its own form. So happy with this purchase.

I couldn't get with those pretty much because they remind me I couldn't land Banned 1's. :(

Kobe AD NXT 360

I thought the LeBron 15 was the most impressive performance build for this season (even if I'd prefer the Kyrie IV to play in), but the intricacies of this pair are something else.

Dual density insole+midsole has an integrated shank, outrigger supports, and arch support. The knit isn't runner soft, but it feels like one material now compared to the Kobe 11 where it seemed like a hybrid of materials. Even the LeBron 15 has some kind of added backing, but concleaed cleverly.

You look at the rim of the collar and there's a departure from the typical padding, although the interior is still shaped. Nike also concealed the external heel clip a bit under the outsole, and there's an ever so slight arch revealed in the outsole profile — which I think helps with the shoe's longitudinal flex. There's a bit of wrap up the medial side with the traction pattern, but not quite the same roundness as the Kyrie IV. The pattern itself looks like it's just nubs at first glance, but it's actually a chopped herringbone setup intended to flex more naturally in any direction.

The outside Swoosh isn't completely rigid, but Nike could've just printed it all the same, so I'm assuming it was intended to add some support to the knit. Like they angled the Swoosh conveniently towards the flex point of the outsole. From an aesthetic standpoint, the whole shoe has this kind of aggressive "rake" to it.

It's so unassuming of a design yet there's a lot to it.

Nike started the drop-in midsole setup with the Kobe 7, and it's crazy how it evolved with time (albeit was skipped on the 10). I don't know if it will play as good as it sounds on paper, but the fact Nike actually put the ideas out makes it remarkable.

Half size down was looking available to me, but I tried it and they're just delayed with showing a sellout. A few sites were acting like that too. Wouldn't be surprised if there was a bunch of backdoor movement. I hit Eastbay ASAP too and they kept struggling to cart.

Might look for leftovers locally. I want to have it, but not over retail.

Let me know if you guys come across a 12 in the Cap and Gown 11’s that dropped today. Struck out everywhere but it was mostly my fault... long story but I had a brain fart this morning.

That'll get you a nice return.

But at the same time, if you sell, it'll be harder to get back.

I will sell it to get what i really want, 1 bred toes and atleast 1 yeezy. I cant wear a shoe with so much value, you know me, i wear all my shoes, but 3 of my AJ1’s are still deadstock
