Air Jordan 1 — Black/Gym Red/White/Sail
Not exactly a dream shoe, but it was the only one I remotely liked that I actually had a chance to get. Full intent to just use them as near-beaters.
A little weird to me that Nike knows well how quick highs sell in the right colors, but they still price the AJ1 under the rest of the retros. There's proper level and craftsmanship involved, at least when it's not some ridiculous gimmick colorways. Since 1985 this shoe has had a universally agreeable aesthetic. Even looks good in a new way when worn in.
So that also makes me wonder why Nike usually fails to make new designs that can hit the same marks, or try to make another nice leather-based design lately.
