Nike Penny/Zoom Rookie "Memphis Tigers"

Momentarily grabbed this one while it's on discount. Very much on the fence. On one hand, I much prefer the black-base version of the shoe, on the other hand, this is very fascinating to me. I do believe style trends are heavily influenced by marketing. Like if OG Jordan shoes were not black/red, who's to say they wouldn't be coveted the same way? We've got people turning heel on dad shoes because of Kanye, the whole Yeezy 700/500 thing is just kinda funny.

I'm not into resale, but I've caught myself wishing I bought one colorway over another for some shoes. This includes the LeBron 15 "Ashes", Kyrie 4 Black/White and "Red Carpet", LeBron 12 "Data" and "Instinct, etc. I'm feeling this *might* be one of those I could regret skipping down the line, but still too hard to tell.
