The other pickup for this expensive month showed up. This year was all front loaded. The Gammas and the Aqua 8's are the only other pairs on my radar for the rest of this year as of right now.

I was on the fence on entering the raffles. Sick pair, but rare time I'd only have it as a display piece because it's so cool to look at in its pristine state.

The furry lace does come off. It's a secondary addition.

The Kai 1 was my favorite court shoe last year. Did all the right things without the cost of beating me up as much as other shoes when I have to do moves that press against the lateral edges/walls.

The 2 feels like it continues from there.

Not exactly the style I'd draw up in my mind, but realizing it quietly contains the proper functional attributes in turn gives it appeal. That midsole line kinda makes it seem like it rides high and maybe clunky like an older shoe, but in reality it rides low, feels and moves like a proper performance shoe. Leather on this colorway is a nice bonus for me.

Nice. I overpaid for a pair off goat the day before release when I saw there were only 1200 something size 13's made, then I got worried the Goat pair seller would back out because people had stories that people back out if the shoe shoots up in value after release. so I tried on a few raffles to see if I could get a pair for retail. Struck out on raffles, but ended up getting a pair on Nike.com. That pair should be here tomorrow. not sure if I'm going to sell the Goat pair if it ever shows up or what I'm going to do. It's status hasn't changed so honestly I just hope I get refunded for that pair...

Goat seller did back out and I got refunded. I'm glad I didn't have to pay for 2 pairs in the end.

Sorry, @Ventruck, no Foamposite shoes were bought. But I tried on and liked how these ASICS shoes looked. I gave the cashier some email to knock the price down to $150 after tax. These launched last fall and are the Gel Kayano 31 in the cranberry/habanero color scheme

Asics has been getting a bit more attention, especially with the retro runner trend (crazy to say the 2010's are "retro" now). Was looking at a Gel Kayano 14, but the fight to downsize in the first place has been a tough one.

I got lucky. Didn’t win the flu’s on release but footlocker dropped them a couple days ago but I was in that virtual line on there website and by the time it was my turn 8’s and lower and 16. So no luck for my 13’s. But I went to mall Tuesday and at foot locker they had a pair of 13’s that they were holding for someone that didn’t come get them and I snagged them up.
