Best way to paint Frogskins

I want to make myself a custom pair of Frogskins but I want to keep the feel that comes with stock matte finish (light rubbery feel) what is the best way to paint them or best product to paint them to keep that texture?

Light rubbery feel,....we are talking about sunglasses......aren't we.....?

Yeah sunglasses not sure how to explain the texture it’s not a plastic feel, I believe only the matte style are like that

The only 'rubbery feel' Frogs I can think of are Soft Touch, Paul Smith Pink and a Purple rubberized.
