Aloha Bro. Are you making any temple washers? I know regular ones are super thin. But something a little thicker and you might be able to use one on each side, as opposed to the two on each side like with OEM washers. I use OXM temple washers just because it's easier to put back and works the same for me. A carbon fiber one sounds interesting. If doable.🤙
This…I’m in 👽🤙

I had washers made years ago. About 100,000 of em same as oem. Honestly that's the best solution as with 4 per hinge the washers pivot on each other. I don't think they make cf that thin either. The oem washers are 4 thousandths thick if I remember correctly I don't think they make cf that thin.

I didn't think CF could be as thin as an OEM washer. That's why I referred to this OXM washer. They're definitely not as thin as OEM stuff. I've bought many of these because it's much easier to install. And only one on each side is needed. I understand that rubbing will occur with using only one washer and it may deteriorate quicker. But for how I use my pairs, I rarely ever collapse them. After I'm done using them they're back in a display case in the full open position. And I was thinking a carbon fiber one might last longer than these. But only if something was available. I knew it would be a stretch but had to ask.

With 4 washers per hinge they out last the oem flex couplers by a long shot. I've done tune ups where the oem flex couplers were a mushy paste but the earstem washers looked like brand new. I've never had a problem putting in 4 washers everytime I do a tune up and I've done thousands of pairs now

I guess I need more practice…I hate trying to get those darn washers to stay in place! 😏👎
