Carbon Shift disassembly

Has anyone tried removing the aluminium parts were the o logos are? I'm wondering if they are removable so I can get them painted a different color. If anyone has any info on this please let me know.

You guys done this yet. I don't have @Fresh carbon shift in front of me now, but I'm doing him some prizm shallow waters for it.
I bet this can be done with the right tools, but like I said I'm probably getting ahead of myself. As an optician I have a while bench full of tools. Most things I'm not afraid to tinker with, but most often I'm fixing broken things, not taking apart brand new items.
