Hello,
Cerakote questions?
I noticed some questions about adding a primer before Cerakote.
To clarify ceramic coating will adhere to any heated / clean substrate that has been properly prepared. There is no need to add a primer.
I also noticed chipping and cracking in some of the threads.
Firearms are painted at .0001 . This does not apply to oakleys. It's ok to go thin in areas , where the lenses go.
The arms can be coated heavier.
If it's chipping or flaking I believe uneven strokes with the sprayer can cause build up and "hollidays" sorry painters term! I've seen chipping in hard to reach areas but never on a clean run.
