I am selling a pair of Crosshair 2012
They are Polished Gold
They are used but look new, rubber is excellent 9/10
Model Number is 4060-01

The original lenses were Grey or dark grey I think;
but I swapped them out for what I believe are VR-28 non-polars
The lense could be bronze though, I'm not 100% certain.
I think they have too much red hue in them to be Bronze and are VR-28
either way buyer is informed and can see pics.
Lenses have no scratches, rate 9/10

These cool aviator style frames are getting harder to find, as Luxottica takes over more & more of Oakley's design direction.

It'll cost over $10 to ship w/pp fees, so buyer will be getting these lenses for under $79

Sale price is $99 $94 $89 Price Drop $85
DO NOT SEND OFFERS
No trades
Paypal G&S, ConUS Shipping only
I ship USPS Priority with tracking number, insurance

Notes to high maintenance buyers:
Note 1: All my items are not %100 perfect and are priced to reflect that.
So if you are looking for museum collection grade stuff or are gonna nit pick over every detail please move along and ignore my listing
If you know that you are getting some level of a deal as the items are somewhat under priced then that’s who I am looking to sell to.
There are no returns or send backs, not interested in wasting my time.
All packages ship with insurance in case something happens in transit.
Note 2: My username bronzefunk is also my eBay user name with %100 feedback since 2002. Feel free to look up my ID

I would have assumed these are made in China, but they don't say made in China on the ear stems like almost every other pair does these days, so maybe these were made in US? I can't say for sure though...

Here is something interesting, I have another pair (that I'm keeping and not selling) of the exact same model number and it does say China on it; but the one for sale does NOT say China on it.

Gotcha. Do you know if Oakley made the crosshair before the "takeover"?

well the Crosshair has a long history

I believe there was the original Crosshair that was released in 2005-2011
Then Crosshair 2.0 - diff design and very cool
Then a Crosshair S - diff design - not so cool
Then Crosshair 2012, which is what this is and appears to be a exactly like the Original
so the design is from 2005 but the takeover initiated in 2007
that being said the takeover has been a long slow process of Oakleys design becoming more & more RayBan-y looking, so in my mind I consider the Crosshair 2012 a callback to pre Lux oakley design language.
The newer aviator style Oakley still have a decent looking aviator design/style too them but to my eye they look thinner frame, cheaper components and more disposable. I could be wrong or it could be my bias, but thats what I see and why I am selling 1 pair and keeping 1 pair, cuz these are really cool frames.

You can't some info here:
